Meet the Team
Hannah Haxell
Founder - Occupational Therapist
Hi, I'm Hannah, an Occupational Therapist with a background in both finance and healthcare. My passion lies in paediatrics, where I enjoy helping children develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive in their daily lives.
I live in Wanaka with my husband, our two young children, our dog Bowie, and our cat Goldie. Outside of work, I love making the most of everything our region has to offer, whether that's hiking, skiing, or simply getting outdoors with the kids and animals. I believe in bringing warmth, creativity, and a practical approach to the families I work alongside.
Jade hamilton
Founder - Occupational Therapist
Kia Ora, I'm Jade, an Occupational Therapist with over 13 years of experience working with children, adults, and older people across paediatrics, rehabilitation, and older persons' health. It is a privilege to be able to meet people where they are at, often at challenging times in life, and support them through their individual journeys to meet their goals. I believe the best outcomes come from truly understanding each person's situation and working together to find solutions that fit real life. Every client and family is different, and I take pride in providing therapy that is personalised, collaborative, and focused on what is most important to them.
I live in Wanaka with my husband and our four daughters, who keep life exciting, busy (and noisy!) every day. When I’m not working or needed as a personal assistant to the princesses (and sometimes my husband), I enjoy outdoor adventures, a good DIY project, family movie nights and exercising.
I feel incredibly blessed to have the job that I do, supporting our people in this beautiful part of the country we live in!

Occupational Therapist
Hi, I’m Amy, an Occupational Therapist with over 18 years of experience helping people of all ages achieve their goals and participate more fully in everyday life.
I live in Wānaka with my husband and our two children—an 11-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son. We moved here from Timaru five years ago and are proud to call Wānaka home.
Throughout my career, I have worked across a variety of settings and age groups, developing a broad range of clinical skills. I have a particular passion for head injury rehabilitation and concussion management, supporting people to recover, rebuild confidence, and return to the activities that matter most to them. I also enjoy working with children and their families, helping young people develop skills, independence, and confidence through practical, meaningful therapy.
My approach is friendly, personalised, and focused on helping each client achieve the best possible outcomes.
I am excited to be part of the Aspiring Occupational Therapy family and look forward to supporting individuals and families throughout our community.
